HEAD OF FOOD & BEVERAGE OPERATIONS
Full-time, permanent: 45 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus bonus scheme
Bar open Mon & Tue 9am to 8pm, Wed, Thu & Fri 9am to 11pm, Sat 10am to 11pm, Sun 10am to 8pm
Holidays: 25 days holiday plus statutory holiday allowance (33 days in total)
This is a new exciting senior role at The Tetley, a pioneering centre for contemporary art based in the former Tetley's headquarters in Leeds, that hosts an award-winning Bar & Kitchen and events throughout the year from conferences to weddings. We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and ambitious leader to join the Senior Management Team and make their mark on this creative organisation.
Reporting to the Director, and to the Board of the trading subsidiary, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability across Food & Beverage and events. You will lead these respective teams, building on the Business Plan and driving key actions for the operations to ensure all avenues are explored to maximize performance across F&B and Events.
You will be a strong team leader with excellent hospitality experience, ideally across F&B and C&B. You will set and maintain high standards across the operation ensuring that the team deliver their best individually and collectively. Inspiring and motivated, you will be sales driven and entrepreneurially-minded, operating the Bar, Kitchen and Events as a stakeholder.
The role offers a 45-hour working week with an 'on balance to business needs' mandate, with a good work/life balance, 33 days annual leave, a 3% pension contribution and health insurance.
