Emii Alrai In Conversation with Professor Griselda Pollock

As part of a special Wednesday Lates, join us for an in conversation between exhibiting artist Emii Alrai and Professor Griselda Pollock. Discover the themes behind Alrai's practice of inherited nostalgia, geographical identity and post-colonial museum practices of collecting and displaying objects.

Pollock is a feminist art historian who has dedicated her academic life to the study and interpretation of a the work of many sculptors from Eva Hesse and Alina Szapocznikowto Louise Bourgeois. She has taught fine art and art history at the University of Leeds since 1977.
