Tiny Tetley @ Home - Shape and Movement
29 July 2020
10:00 – 11:00
Join us for our next Tiny Tetley @ Home on Wednesday 29 July (10:00 - 11:00), and have fun exploring Shape and Movement through music, stories and making activities for under 4's.
We'll be imagining shapes to represent other things: faces, figurative forms, islands or boats. What do these shapes look like to you? How would these shapes move if they were dancing? Can we make shapes using our bodies?
We'll be sending you on a hunt around your house, to search for familiar and abstract shapes that we find interesting. We'll make a hanging, shape sculpture together. Watch our 5 minute film to introduce you to the session, and get ready for an hour of fun.
We're offering this event for free to ensure as many people as possible can take part but we ask those who can afford it to help us cover the costs with a recommended donation of £5. You can add a donation to your basket today!
This session will be delivered by Stephanie, an Early Years Artist Specialist and Montessori Teacher.
Working for several art galleries and museums across Leeds and Wakefield, Stephanie develops fun and engaging sessions and play spaces. Her aim is to harness children's wonder in the world around them, through play, exploration, art and fun!
