Welcome to The Tetley's Blog - a Place for Reflection, Provocation and Discussion

2020 has become a time to reflect deeply on what we as individuals, and as organisations do; how we do it and why we do it. The global pandemic and the deaths of George Floyd and many others, have been a wake-up call to the inequalities still extant in society. As we face the ongoing repercussions of Covid-19 the divisions and divide in society have the potential to grow further, so how can we make a difference?

This blog series, by partners, artists and The Tetley team, reflects on where we are and where we go from here. These posts are intended to be a provocation, an inspiration and a challenge to ourselves and the wider sector. This ongoing series will contribute to how we shape our future; discussing the actions we are taking, sharing and learning together, and making what we do more public, more accountable and more open.

This is a challenging time, but it is also an opportunity to rethink and renew, to reinvigorate and reaffirm how we can best serve our communities and help shape a better future. I hope you will come on this journey with us and I welcome any comments or feedback you might like to share.
