Join Lucyoga for an upbeat but gentle, yoga session that will help you start your weekend feeling relaxed.
This is fun and relaxing Dru Yoga suitable for all body types and levels of experience. The yoga classes will draw on themes from our current exhibitions and be set to carefully crafted playlists.
Dru Yoga is a beautiful flowing form of yoga that will help you to unwind and stretch out your body. It can help revive tired muscles, reduce back pain and combat stress. Dru Yoga gives the mind and body much needed energy, to help you find strength and peace in a busy world.
The class will be suitable for all body types and levels of fitness. It is suitable for beginners as Lucy teaches a fully instructed session that doesn't require any prior knowledge of yoga. For those with more yoga experience, this is a chance to try a new style, one that focuses on your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
It is also open to those with health challenges, who are pregnant or post-natal. It is vital that you inform Lucy in advance if you have any current or chronic health issues, are pregnant or post-natal so alternative options can be prepared for some exercises in the class.
The yoga sessions will take place in the unique and spacious City Workshop room of our building.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and a bottle of water. A few yoga mats will be available to borrow if you don't have one, please email Lucy in advance to make a request.
Please note that advance booking is essential for this class. There is a waiting list available for when the class becomes full and please ensure you include your phone number so Lucy can contact you if any last-minute places become free.
